Let's Go to Sleep in Paris

Last year, I had a dream of visiting Paris with my boos.  This year that dream came true.

Last month we spent a few days in Paris before I jaunted off to London and Amsterdam.  It was wonderful. And since the CPA exam (LAST ONE, PEOPLE) doesn't give me a lot of time, the posts related to these cities will be more pictures than words. But that's all you care about anyway, yes?

Our Airbnb was at the base of the steps to the Sacré-Cœur. Here is the view from that beautiful building (in between the raindrops).

Couldn't escape the raindrops forever though.

We also visited the restaurant from Amélie, one of the few movies I have in common with these two ;)

The rest
The first time I had crème brûlée.

Surprise surprise: I hated it.

We visited a couple of museums, including the Dali Museum and the Phono Museum, both of which I LOVED.

Walking and talking and playing outside...

We went by the Louvre (like, literally went by - only 1/4 of us actually went in for a whirlwind tour before closing).  The light was on our side.

Then we went to Shakespeare and Co., which I had actually thought about visiting for YEARS. Thought it would be the perfect place to purchase for my budding collection of Alice in Wonderland books from my world tour.

No one told me they only sell books in English.

Womp.

Luckily it was right next door to Notre Dame.

We did so much more and there are so many more pictures, but this is all you get.  I leave you with a pic of my squad at the Eiffel Tower. You can't have mine, but you should find you someone(s) similar.
